Your diary, your plan, your history: Toerdle stores all of this on your iPhone by default. You can delete this data directly in the app. For data that was synced with a server, you can also ask us to delete it for you.
Delete it in the app
This is the fastest way. Depending on what you want gone, you have three options.
1. Delete your account
- Open Toerdle and go to Settings.
- Under "Account and data", tap "Delete account" and confirm.
This deletes everything that belongs to your account: on the server your account with profile and photos, your friends, your feed, your leaderboard values, your challenges, your subscription information and the recipes you shared by code from this device. What remains is listed in section 22 of the Privacy Policy. It also deletes the Toerdle data in your iCloud and everything on this device, including your achievements. You are signed out afterwards. If you later sign in again with the same Apple or Google account, you start from scratch.
If you signed out with "Sign out on this device", sign in again first. Otherwise only iCloud and the device are cleared, and your account on the server remains.
2. Delete only the data on the device
- Settings → Account and data → Privacy.
- Tap "Delete all my data" and confirm.
This deletes everything on the device. Your account on the server remains.
3. Delete the app
You can also simply delete Toerdle from your iPhone (touch and hold the app icon → Remove App → Delete App). Because the app's data lives on your iPhone, this deletes it from the device. Your account on the server remains.
None of these steps can be undone. What is deleted is gone.
Data on the server
Our server holds your account and your profile and, if you agreed to share your health data, the values for friends, challenges and leaderboards. The details are in the Privacy Policy.
If you can no longer sign in, for example because you no longer have the device, write to us briefly. We take care of it and let you know once it is done.
Request deletion by email
Send an email with the subject "Delete account" to:
If you can, include the email address or name you used the app with. That helps us find the right data.
